​​​​​​​Hexcavator is a 3D Hexagonal Reimagining of Minesweeper, featuring Upgrades, Cosmetics and Achievements, unlock new themes and flagpoles through earnable in game currency through finding treasures, beating challenges and through victories.
It's set to release just after I finish University, as my workload increased a lot so I need more time to finish it before releasing. I put the game in Steam Fest in February 2025 and I managed to get over 1250 Downloads and 150 wishlists. In total I've put around 1 and a half months of development into the project, and I estimate around 1 extra month to finish it off.
I wanted to make a more complete game with a more refined and almost infinite gameloop, and I just thought remaking a game I really enjoyed playing with some new systems and improvements would be a fun design challenge.
